Calm before the storm..
This bschool application process is one place where "no news" isnt necessarily good news. Things have been pretty silent after the quick dings of the last 2 weeks. The BWeek forums have been rife with speculations about very little news from Stern. Some R2ers have already been admitted or waitlisted whilst a majority(including moi) are still waiting for the first status update.
Ross's deadline is looming large.Another 2 weeks and the wait will be over. The interview I gave in early dec seems like a distant memory now. What stands out though is how much I loved the school. Brand names aside, Ross I think has one of the best curriculums around. Ive been a student of the action-based-learing school since undergrad and I really have seen firsthand the benefits of theory+practical learning vis-a-vis pure theortical learning. Of course, I would hop over to Ross for their Tozzi Finance Centre alone.
Yale is still deliberating..

I know how you feel, having been in the same situation last year. From my experience, I still think that no news is good news - I got my acceptance email in the evening of the day before the final deadline, more than two months after my interviews and with no interaction with admissions since then. So it is possible to get an acceptance, even last minute.
Good luck with your application!
